CAST IRON CORNBREAD - Sweet, heat, moist with a crunch.

Home made corn bread, baked in cast iron - Video recipe below.

Cornbread has a few disputed origins and though it’s important to know where something started it’s equally as important to make sure the end result is delicious. The cast iron creates a thin crisp crunch on the bottom of the cornbread while the bbq seasoning and honey boosts the flavor.

This may not be a down-south recipe because not only do we use sugar but we also use honey in this cornbread - with that said you’ll find this version served with smoked meats and beans. This is Liz’s recipe - the “L” in HLM BBQ. We hope you love it.
